AIPF: New year. New demands. New directions. New goals.

This New Year is going to provide new and important opportunities for the AIPF to serve its member firms. Careful review has been given to the role of the IP boutique law firm and its impact and importance in the field of intellectual property law. The pointed focus of the AIPF will be to provide new insights into the needs and operations of the IP boutique firm.

Over the past year the AIPF held numerous meetings reviewing the services it provides and has set new goals and directions specifically geared to the operations of the IP boutique.  While the AIPF will continue to be the forum for all matters relevant to the IP boutique, its specific goal will be to provide information and learning opportunities to its IP boutique firm members that are not available through other groups and organization.  In the coming year, the AIPF will gear its programs more pointedly toward issues that are unique to the IP boutique law firm. The AIPF will focus more intently on the business of the IP boutique; the most effective and efficient ways of providing intellectual property services; the challenges of IP boutiques that are different than those of general practice law firms with intellectual property departments; the benefits of choosing an IP boutique over a general practice law firm; and the best ways to promote the IP boutique to prospective clients.

As the year progresses, we hope you will participate in the many new and unique opportunities and events that are planned.  If there are particular issues you would like to see addressed, please contact us.   We look forward to serving you in new and important ways in the year ahead.
