Becky Hundley is the intellectual property and contracts manager for WSU Ventures, an organization at Wichita State University dedicated to technology transfer. With a technical background and experience with contracts, marketing and account management, she manages the patent portfolio for the University, as well as related copyrights and trademarks. She works with faculty members to identify new inventions, pursues patent protection when appropriate, and markets WSU IP to industry. She is also deeply knowledgeable of WSU facilities and capabilities, and an important resource for potential collaborators. Becky earned her Bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University and a MBA from Baker University. Becky is married with two children ages 23 and nine, and is currently training for her second half-marathon.
Stephanie Miller joined ERAU in May 2013 to establish the university’s first technology transfer office, enabling university research results to become real-world products. In this capacity she evaluates ERAU inventions for intellectual property protection potential and markets those assets to industry for licensing, development, and production. She previously held positions at the University of Virginia Licensing & Ventures Group, evaluating and marketing technologies primarily in the areas of medical diagnostics and therapeutics. Miller earned her B.S. in Biotechnology at the University of Delaware and her M.S. in Biological and Physical Sciences and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of Virginia.
