Application for Membership
NOTICE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS (OCTOBER 2019):
Our vision to be the primary resource IP boutiques around the world trust for support and insight on all issues pertaining to their unique practice starts with our members. We saw great advances in the association the past few years and we are actively encouraging this growth. AIPF took steps to re-structure its committees to provide higher-quality content for its members – with great success – and now, AIPF is excited to announce changes in the membership due structure!
Starting this renewal season, membership levels and their dues have been updated as follows:
| Membership Level | Firm Dues* |
| Solo to 3 Attorneys | $300.00 USD |
| 4 to 7 Attorneys | $600.00 USD |
| 8 to 15 Attorneys | $1,500.00 USD |
| 16+ Attorneys | $2,500.00 USD |
*Membership is by firm, not by individual. Membership is annual and runs from January 1 through December 31. Membership is prorated from January 1.
To be eligible for AIPF Membership, the applicant law firm must specialize in Intellectual Property Law according to one of the following criteria:
- At least 50% of the firm's attorneys are registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office or before their home country's Patent and Trademark Office, or
- Although 50% of the firm's attorneys are not registered to practice before their Patent and Trademark Office, the firm devotes a majority of its practice to Intellectual Property Law.
