Application for Membership
The Association of Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF) brings together intellectual property boutique law firms from around the world. Membership provides opportunities to connect with other IP professionals, exchange knowledge, develop business relationships, and participate in programs focused on the practice and business of intellectual property law.
Membership Eligibility
AIPF membership is available to law firms that specialize in Intellectual Property Law and meet one of the following criteria:
- At least 50% of the firm's attorneys are registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office or before their home country's Patent and Trademark Office; or
- Although fewer than 50% of the firm's attorneys are registered to practice before a Patent and Trademark Office, the firm devotes a majority of its practice to Intellectual Property Law.

1–3 Attorneys
$300 USD
4–7 Attorneys
$600 USD
8–15 Attorneys
$1,500 USD
16+ Attorneys
$2,500 USD
Annual membership dues are based on the number of attorneys in the firm. Membership is prorated for firms joining during the membership year.
